Ana Hernandez
Hi! My name is Ana Hernandez, and I’m currently completing my Master’s in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. I’ll be graduating in April 2026, and I’m so excited to begin my practicum journey in September. I’ve always been passionate about helping others, and I feel especially called to support young girls and women as they learn to trust themselves, build confidence, and navigate life’s ups and downs. My goal is to create a warm, supportive space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to grow.
I’m an immigrant from Venezuela, and I’m proud to offer counselling in both English and Spanish.I believe in meeting people where they’re at - with empathy, compassion, and a genuine desire to help. Whether you’re working through something big or simply feeling stuck, I’m here to walk alongside you.
Client Focus: Pre- and Adolescent Girls (Age 10+) and Young Adults
Types of Therapy: I’m especially drawn to Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based approaches - not just because of their strong evidence base, but because they’ve made a meaningful impact in my own life. CBT has helped me better understand the connection between my thoughts, feelings, and actions, and mindfulness has taught me the value of slowing down and staying present, both skills that I hope to instill in my future clients.

Supporting with the following roadblocks to thriving: Anxiety, self-doubt, disordered eating, self-confidence struggles, self-image struggles, and interpersonal relationships.
Outside of Therapy: Outside of my counselling work, I’m a huge dog lover and am passionate about running and lifting weights. Movement and connection are both core parts of my life, and I love finding ways to integrate that energy into the work I do with clients.

Chantal Menard Côté

Registered Psychologist
I specialize in working with elite teen girl athletes navigating injury recovery, eating disorders, performance-related anxiety, and identity pressure within competitive sport.
High-performing young women often look strong on the outside while quietly carrying emotional overwhelm, self-doubt, body image struggles, or fear of falling behind.
My work focuses on helping them rebuild confidence, restore nervous system regulation, and reconnect to who they are beyond performance.
I offer collaborative, trauma-informed, nervous system based therapy grounded in relational depth and embodied regulation. My work integrates IFS-informed parts work, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy, expressive arts, and somatic practices.
Together, we explore what’s happening beneath reactions, soften harsh inner narratives, and strengthen the capacity to move through life with steadiness, clarity, and self-trust.
Sessions are structured and depth-oriented, designed for meaningful, sustainable change rather than surface-level coping.
Many of the athletes I support are sensitive, driven, creative, and deeply feeling. We untangle patterns of perfectionism, people-pleasing, emotional shutdown, and burnout while strengthening grounded resilience and embodied confidence.
I maintain a focused caseload to ensure individualized, high-level care. My approach is warm, steady, and collaborative, blending clinical precision with relational depth.
Sessions are offered virtually across Alberta and in person in Calgary.
