Feeling anxious, unmotivated, or disconnected from yourself (sometimes or most of the time), can be exhausting, especially while figuring out friendships, school, extracurriculars, family, and all the changes that come with the teen and young adult years.

I offer compassionate, trauma-informed therapy for teen girls and emerging adults who want to feel calmer, more connected, and more like the person they want to be.

Many of the clients I work with are sensitive, creative, high-achieving, athletic and deeply feeling, and often struggle with self-doubt, people-pleasing, emotional overwhelm, or feeling “too much".

In our work together, I help you slow down (still go for big goals if that's your thing) and understand what’s happening in your nervous system, and help untangle the patterns that keep you stuck.

Using a blend of many options including trauma-informed therapy, expressive arts, mindfulness, nature connections, and mind body healing tools, we’ll build practical skills that work for you so you can move through life with more ease, clarity, and confidence.

Sessions are held virtually, making support accessible wherever you are in Alberta or in-person based out of Calgary. My style is warm, collaborative, and grounded, honouring your pace, your strengths, and your inner wisdom while offering steady guidance and tools you can use in real life.

If you’re looking for a therapist who sees and supports the whole you mind, body, and heart, I would be honoured to walk alongside you.

Welcome! I am a Registered Social Worker with a Master’s in Clinical Social Work. I provide compassionate and culturally competent therapy to teens, adults, and families. With advanced training in Trauma-Informed Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness, I help clients address a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and life transitions.

Through a trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and intersectional lens, I create a safe and inclusive environment where each client feels genuinely heard and understood. As a Black therapist, I bring a nuanced perspective on identity, culture, and systemic issues, offering an approach that deeply respects each person’s experiences. Whether you are a teen discovering yourself, an adult managing stress, or a family working through relationship dynamics, I use a personalized approach to meet your unique needs.

Beyond the therapy room, faith, family, and friendships give me strength and balance. I find peace in nature through walking, journaling, and appreciating life’s small moments. When it’s time to relax, I enjoy Korean dramas, city adventures, and reading for pleasure. Sometimes, you will find me embracing a playful side through art, dancing, or even building sandcastles—because life is meant to be lived fully!

I’ve always been passionate about helping others, and I feel especially called to support young girls and women as they learn to trust themselves, build confidence, and navigate life’s ups and downs. My goal is to create a warm, supportive space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to grow.

I’m an immigrant from Venezuela, and I’m proud to offer counselling in both English and Spanish.I believe in meeting people where they’re at - with empathy, compassion, and a genuine desire to help. Whether you’re working through something big or simply feeling stuck, I’m here to walk alongside you.

Client Focus:
Pre- and Adolescent Girls (Age 10+) and Young Adults

Types of Therapy:
I’m especially drawn to Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based approaches - not just because of their strong evidence base, but because they’ve made a meaningful impact in my own life. CBT has helped me better understand the connection between my thoughts, feelings, and actions, and mindfulness has taught me the value of slowing down and staying present, both skills that I hope to instill in my future clients.

Anxiety, self-doubt, disordered eating, self-confidence struggles, self-image struggles, and interpersonal relationships.
